This log cabin sits 40 km northwest of Hämeenlinna in Sappee, right by Lake Konaanjärvi. The lake is only 25 m away, with firm sandy and clay bottom and both deep and shallow water, and the cabin has its own boat for days on the water.
Inside, the cabin is arranged over two floors. Downstairs you have a hearth room, one bedroom with two beds, a washroom, and a wood-heated sauna, while upstairs there is a living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a kitchen, and a sleeping loft with three beds. The loft is 10 m² and has low headroom, so it suits guests who are happy with a compact sleeping space. Verandas on both levels give you extra room to sit out.
Outside, a slope leads down from the cabin to the beach, and there is an electric outboard motor available for rent if you want to explore the lake more easily. The cabin also has an outside power point for the car. Riding is 9 km away, and ski tracks and a ski centre are within driving distance for winter days.
A cash deposit of 50 € is payable on arrival. Water levels can vary, so the shoreline may change with the season.
