This large log-built cabin in Hämeenlinna has a distinctive medieval feel, set on a forested slope above lake Iso-Roine. It suits holidays, parties, camps, meetings and other group stays, with room for up to 17 guests across the living areas, bedrooms and loft.
Inside, the cabin brings people together around a hall with dining and meeting space, a fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a sauna with an electric stove, two showers and toilets on both floors, while the two towers add to the castle-like character and can also be reached from outside.
Outside, the setting is made for simple Nordic days by the water. A shallow, child-friendly sand beach is shared with other cabins, and next to the cabin there is a lean-to shelter where you can cook over the campfire. Firewood is included, pets are welcome for an extra fee, and an electric car charging point is available at additional cost.
The wider area offers plenty to do in every season, from fishing, crayfish catching and berry picking to disc golf, cross-country skiing and ice activities in winter. Please note that the area has weak network connections, and quiet hours run from 22.00 to 7.00.
